About Nadia
Nadia Chechet is a professional vocalist, recording artist and voice teacher based in Brooklyn, NY.
Nadia Chechet is a graduate of Berklee College of Music (BA) and Saint-Petersburg State University (MA), a recipient of the prestigious Berklee College of Music scholarship and the Berklee College of Music Performance Division Vocal Achievement Award. She is a member of National Association of Teachers or Singing (NATS) and has a vast experience teaching voice to students of all levels and age. Nadia is an author of multiple Vocal Masterclasses and Workshops that are taught on the international level. She also has been a professional judge in various children’s singing competitions.
Nadia studied Voice and Vocal Pedagogy under the guidance of such world-renowned artists and teachers as Gabrielle Goodman, Armsted Christian, Donna McElroy, Lisa Thorson, Marcelle Gauvin, Christiane Karam, Katherine Wright, Olga Safronova, Sharon Brown and others.
With the successful performing and recording career that spans over 25 years, Nadia’s passion for Vocal Pedagogy goes parallel (combining 2 things). Nadia Chechet strongly believes that the best voice teacher is the voice teacher that performs on an ongoing basis and aspires professional growth along with their students.
